Federico joined SWIX in 2026 as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer.
He holds a degree in Mathematics from the Université de Lausanne and a Master of Science in Economics (Major in Finance) from Università della Svizzera Italiana.
His background spans senior roles in risk management, control and governance across private banking and independent platforms, including EFG and Thalìa (Lugano/Luxembourg), where he served as Senior Risk Manager and Deputy CFO.
He has led complex mandates across risk, compliance and internal audit, including regulatory and supervisory reviews for asset managers, notably with Studio Giuseppe Ferrari, gaining direct exposure to a wide range of operating models and risk profiles.
At SWIX, he oversees the firm’s operating framework and risk architecture, ensuring full control, consistency and resilience across all activities.
His approach combines quantitative depth with real-world judgment, with a clear focus on anticipating risk and maintaining control under all market conditions.
Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, skiing, reading and travelling, with a strong focus on family.
